Company Profile

Message from the President

Happi-Daruma" is a "gift of good fortune. Happi Daruma" was born in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, under the theme of "a good-luck gift. Now, we have put down roots in Adachi-ku, Tokyo, where we handcraft and sell Daruma dolls one by one.

Happi-Daruma" was born with the image of "a good-luck charm like a "baton of happiness" that brings happiness and sincerity to people. In the last few years, with the increase in inbound demand, the product has gradually become a mainstream "souvenir," but in 2020, it was suddenly hit by the Corona disaster and found itself in a difficult situation....

In December of the same year, the company opened its first store, Happi Daruma Kobo, at the knee of Nishiarai Daishi Sojiji Temple in Adachi-ku, Tokyo. The store, which includes a workshop, store, and workshop, is lined with freshly made, colorful Daruma dolls. We are struggling every day, dreaming of one day becoming a local specialty and a famous store.

The round shape of the Daruma doll, which was born in Japan, is a symbol of happiness and wealth.
The cornerstone of the Daruma doll is the philosophy of Zen, a world of harmony and harmony that transcends borders, religions, and races. Daruma doll is round like the earth. It would be our greatest pleasure if we could convey the philosophy of harmony and peace that resides in such a figure to the younger generation and people overseas through the Dharma dolls.
